There are five pools on the Sapphire Princess, three of which are for general use. One of the pools is a splash pool for small children and another is an adults’ only pool and is located within the Lotus Spa. You can take laps of the pool as part of your daily fitness routine but for the best aquatic workout at sea you have to try to swim against the current in the Lotus Pool.

The Lotus Spa is also the setting for the gymnasium with its numerous fitness machines. You will find machines for your workout needs in cardio fitness or for particular muscle groups of the body. There are also free weights available on weight benches and instructors are always on hand to help you in any way they can.

There are classes available in aerobics, Pilates, Yoga, Spinning and stretching. In addition, the Sapphire Princess offers a personal training program in which you have a one-on-one consultation with a fitness expert who will design a workout routine for your needs and level of fitness. There is an extra charge for some of the classes and for the personalized service, but it is not as expensive as you would have to pay at a gym onshore.

At Center Court, you can engage in active sports, such as ping-pong, tennis and basketball. Walking and jogging on the padded track will not only give you the opportunity to exercise at your own pace in the fresh air but will also give you glorious views as you sail along.

There are two golf simulators on this ship as well as a nine-hole mini-golf course where you can tee off as part of your fitness routine and have loads of fun at the same time.

The Lotus Spa offers a wide range of treatments for your wellness needs. Have facials of various kinds as well as massage treatments or engage in the detoxifying rituals in the sauna and stream rooms. If you want to return home with a gorgeous tan but don’t want to spend a lot of time in the sun, sunless tanning is available in this facility.
