The rewards you get for working out on the Grand Princess involves more than just making sure you burn off the extra calories you consume in the dining venues of the ship. The Cruisecash program lets you gain points during the cruise that you can cash in to use for shopping in the various stores on the ship at the end of your cruise.

The Plantation Spa is the place where you can work out on state of the art fitness equipment. Give your body the cardio work out you need, try the free weights or resistance machines. Join one of the aerobics classes offered each day at no extra cost or sign up for a class in Pilates, Yoga, stretching or spinning. A personal trainer is on hand if you need assistance and for a reasonable fee you can even have a workout routine designed to meet your individual level of fitness and your needs.

Even though you have a magnificent view of the ocean through the large windows of the gym, you can enjoy the fresh air in your face on the walking/jogging track on the Sports Deck. Five laps of this padded track equal a mile and with no obstructions on the track you won’t have to break your stride or pace.

Tee off on the nine-hole mini-golf course on the Grand Princess or enrol in a clinic offered by the golf pro on every cruise. This clinic does have a cost as do the golf simulators on which you can test your skills on some of the most challenging courses in the world.

Get your aquatic workout in the resistance pool located with the Plantation Spa where you can swim against the current. For those who want a more vigorous workout, Center Court offers the opportunity to play volleyball, basketball or deck tennis.

After your workout, get the relaxation you need in the sauna and steam rooms of the spa or in one of the nine whirlpools on the ship. The wide range of treatments offered at the spa will work out all of the kinks in your muscles and leave you ready for the evening’s entertainment.
