With three programs for children cruising on the Caribbean Princess, the younger members of their party will feel as if the cruise has been arranged just for their enjoyment. The facility is secure with locked doors so that only parents can come to pick up their children and other guests cannot enter the facility at any time.

All of the main facilities on the Caribbean Princess are conveniently located off the Atrium. Here you will find the Information Desk and the Shore Excursion Desk as well as a bar, the Library, the Jokers’ Card Room, the Writing Room and the Art Gallery. With the bank of elevators you won’t have to get out of breath climbing the stairs, but such an activity is a great workout activity for those so inclined.

The mini-mall on the ship consists of upscale boutiques where you can shop for souvenirs, upscale clothing and jewellery items or things you simply forgot to pack for the cruise. Meridian Bay and Calypso Corner are the clothing stores, while Faucets sells jewellery and Essence is a fitting name for a perfume store.

The Promenade Deck encircles the ship making it perfect for getting a 360 degree view of your surroundings. With five pools and eight whirlpools on the ship you won’t lack the opportunity to swim or lounge around on the pool deck.

Make use of the Internet Cafe to keep in touch with home and have a professional photo taken at the Photo Gallery. If getting married is part of your cruise itinerary, you can tie the knot right on the ship in the Hearts and Mind Chapel.

Every passenger deck has a self-service laundrette that is open 24 hours. You can keep this in mind when you are packing for the cruise and know that you can wash some of your clothing on the ship, leaving room for your purchases on the ship and in the various ports of call.

There are two formal nights on a cruise on the Caribbean Princess, but for the most part the dress code is casual.
