The Sapphire Princess is like a small city floating on the ocean in the wealth of facilities it provides for its guests. In addition to the five pools and the numerous dining and entertainment venues, there is a small shopping mall on the ship. Purchase jewellery, perfume or clothing at the stores where you do not have to pay the taxes because you are out to sea.

Have a new hairstyle or a scalp treatment at the Beauty Salon in the Lotus Spa so that you will look your best at all times. The Library has a large selection of books to choose from if you forgot to bring some reading material with you. The comfortable chairs in this venue are the perfect choice for taking in the views through the large windows or you can even curl up and have a nap in this quiet location on the ship.

The Internet Cafe on the Sapphire Princess is very expansive and has a large number of computer terminals for your use in checking your email or surfing the net. There is also a coffee bar in this location where you can enjoy specialty coffees and teas.

The Wedding Chapel on this ship is larger than on other cruise ships in the Princess fleet and the captain can legally perform marriage ceremonies out at sea.

Self-service laundrettes are conveniently located throughout the ship and are open 24 hours a day. They are coin-operated and if you do not have the coins you need, you can easily get what you need at the Purser’s Desk in the Atrium during the day.

Have a professional photo taken at the Photo Gallery or browse the photos to see if the photographers managed to snap a photo of you in a funny or embarrassing situation. You can purchase these photos to take back home. This venue also provides developing services so that you have all your photos ready when you leave the ship.

The Fine Arts Gallery has a selection of art work on the walls. During a cruise, you have the opportunity to purchase one of these at an art auction and have it shipped home for you.

There are four different programs for children on the Sapphire Princess ranging from toddlers to teens. The playroom has an extensive array of toys and games for the little ones. Teenagers have their own zone in Off Limits where they can enjoy a computer lab, karaoke and disco dancing as well as just hanging out with their new friends. Parents do not have to spend all their time looking after the children and are free to pursue more adult activities on the ship.
