The Ruby Princess has something for everyone on a cruise no matter what the age. Children’s programs are divided into age groups so that the games and activities are geared toward their interest and level of development. The outdoor play area is exclusive for 3 to 7 year olds and the area for 8 to 12 year olds has its own air hockey table and gaming stations. Remix is the name of the hangout just for teens where they can enjoy dances, the computer lab and so much more.

There are 25 computer terminals in the Internet Cafe where you can keep in touch with home and let everyone know how you are doing. You pay per minute for the use of this facility so if you plan to use it a lot, you can save money by purchasing a package deal.



Exchange money at the purser’s office in the Atrium, get answers to your questions at the Information Desk or book a shore excursion. All these facilities are conveniently located in the same area of the ship.

Enjoy duty-free shopping in the range of upscale boutiques and jewellery stores on the Ruby Princess. Purchase souvenirs to take back home or a new outfit for the formal night on the cruise.

If you would like to have a professional photo as a memento of your cruise, this is possible in the Photo Gallery where you can also have your own photos developed before you leave the ship. Browse the selection of fine arts in the Art Gallery. If you like to read, you will love the Library with its comfortable chairs by the large windows and the range of genres of literature on the shelves. Play cards or a board game in the Card Room, where there are contests and challenges of all sorts.

There are five pools on the Ruby Princess, one of which is for the exclusive use of children. There is also a wedding chapel on the ship and the captain can legally perform weddings at sea. Webcams built into the ceiling make it possible for those at home to be part of the celebration.

Coin-operated washers and dryers are located on the passengers decks for your convenience and there is a medical center on the ship for times when you are in need of medical help or advice.
