Entertainment you can only experience on Broadway or in Las Vegas is available every night and the range of entertainment in the many bars and lounges allows you to pick and choose according to your taste.

Children are welcomed aboard the Grand Princess with facilities provided just for them. The programs are divided into age groups with appropriate games and activities to meet their needs. The playroom is well-stocked with toys for toddlers and the library has books for all ages. Teenagers can enjoy their own disco, pizza parties, karaoke and more. During the day the counsellors have various activities that get the children up and moving around the ship and provide group babysitting services in the evenings until midnight.

Duty free shopping in the mini-mall on the ship is a delightful experience. Shop for exotic perfumes in Essence, a new dress or suit at Meridian’s or Calypso Corners or jewelry at Facets to name just a few of the stores on the ship.

There are four swimming pools with adjacent bars and whirlpools, plus a splash pool for the younger kids. If you need a respite from the day’s activities and want some quite time to yourself, the Conservatory is a place where you can clear your mind and still have a view of the action at the Calypso Pool.

The captain of the Grand Princess can perform marriages at sea in the Hearts and Mind Chapel. If you make arrangements for your wedding on the cruise, the staff can prepare a reception you would only dream of in the private party rooms of the ship.

You don’t have to worry about the possibility of getting sick or requiring first aid on the ship because the Grand Princess has a fully staffed medical center.
