Shop as much as you want in the shops on the Emerald Princess where there are no taxes on the purchases you make at sea. Essence is an appropriate name for the perfume shop and Facets is the name of the jewelry store. Shop for the items you forgot to bring or something new to wear for a special event on the ship. The Beauty Salon in the Lotus Spa will attend to your need for a new hairstyle or a trim, as well as a manicure or pedicure.



Check out a book from the Library or curl up in one of the deep-cushioned chairs to enjoy the exquisite view. The Princess Art Gallery is worth a visit just to see the marvellous works of art lining the walls. You also have the opportunity to own one of these in the art auctions that take place during the day.

Work out in the fitness center and enjoy the healing hands of the therapists in the spa. Swim at your leisure in the swimming pools on the ship or relax in one of the adjacent whirlpools. There are bars located right next to the pool for your beverage needs and of course, the Horizon Court has food available 24 hours a day, as does room service.

You don’t have to worry about how things are going at home or at the office because you can keep in touch by means of email at the Internet Cafe. If you want to get married on the cruise, the Emerald Princess has a wedding chapel - Hearts and Mind Wedding Chapel – and the captain can perform marriage ceremonies at sea.

Parents don’t have to have their children underfoot all the time with the programs offered for toddlers to teens on this ship. In this way the children have fun with those of their own age group leaving the parents free to pursue adult activities. There is group babysitting available in the evenings, which means parents don’t have to miss out on any of the evening entertainment.
