The 748-seat Princess Theater on the Star Princess is the perfect venue to enjoy large scale performances on your cruise. The lighting and sound effects enhance every performance and with the stadium-style seating in this pillarless room, every seat has a full view of the stage. Two other show lounges provide you with the opportunity to take in a variety of entertainment in cabaret acts, song and dance routines as well as solo performances. One of these is the Vista Lounge, with its banquette style seating and the other is the Explorer’s Lounge with its dance floor and stage for live bands. Both venues feature a full bar.

The Atlantis Casino on the Star Princess is the largest of its kind on the high seas. Here the air sizzles with electricity as you hear the sounds of the slot machines and watch the action at the gaming tables. It doesn’t cost a lot of money to try your luck on any of these and you just may be the big winner of the cruise. It spans the full width of the deck offering glorious views through the large expanse of windows on both sides.



Shooters is the sports bar on the ship where you can have a game of pool or watch the big game on TV. Large screen TV’s broadcast the sporting news of the day as well as the action of your favourite team. You don’t have to plan your cruise around the championship game because you won’t miss a minute of it on this ship.

Have a cool drink in the heat of the day at Mermaids of if you need something to cool you down as you work out, there is a bar in Center Court as well. Indulge in people watching on the Star Princess in the Promenade Bar, which is located on the busiest deck of the ship.

For those quiet times when you just want to enjoy a drink in comfortable seating and take in the views of the ocean during the day, the Wheelhouse Bar will likely be your choice. This venue has soft music playing that will give you the sense of relaxation that you crave. It is also a popular gathering place during the evening as passengers meet up to have before or after dinner drinks and prepare for the night ahead.

Skywalker’s Club, located high on the top of the ship, is a destination all its own on the Star Princess. This is the party scene on the ship where you can dance until dawn. The club is 150 feet above the water and offers the best views during the day.

Daytime activities take place around the pools on the shop and in the various lounges. Play Bingo or take part in a card tournament. There are all kinds of crazy contests going on and there are art auctions and wine tasting events for your entertainment as well. The Scholarship@Sea program provides a variety of classes in which you can take part and there are lectures by experts on various topics relevant to the cruise.
