When you take a cruise on the Sapphire Princess you can choose to do as much or as little as you please. Entertainment is available day and night and in the wide array of choices there is something for everyone, no matter what age they may be.

In the Scholarship@Sea program, you can take classes during the day in a wide variety of areas. Learn how to make your own plate in the ceramics and pottery program, take in one of many lectures on various topics, take a computer class or even learn how to enhance your game with a golf clinic offered by a pro.

Music of all kinds is front and center during the day and especially in the evening hours. Take in a large scale production in the Princess Theater with its stadium style seating. Every seat has an exceptional view of the action on the stage complete with lighting and sound effects and the enhancement of a full orchestra.

Club Fusion is a truly innovative show lounge where you have three entertainment venues rolled into one. This is a theatre, a dance club and a video gaming center on the ship. Try your luck at the slot machines and gaming tables of the Grand Casino, which is a huge room. It is one of the largest casinos on any cruise ship spanning the full width of the Sapphire Princess. You will feel as if you are in Las Vegas with the action that takes place in this venue and there is a full bar inside the facility for your convenience and needs.

Skywalker’s Nightclub is located on the very top of the ship. This is the disco of the ship where you can party as long as you wish. During the day you can sit on the large balcony and take in the extraordinary views. By night the room pulsates with the beat of the music and dancers take to the floor to kick up their heels.

If you want something a little quieter, the Wake View Bar is the perfect place to meet with friends for drinks before or after dinner. It is right next door to the International Dining Room and is a very popular gathering place on the ship in the evenings. For those who enjoy dancing but not a large crowd, the Wheelhouse Lounge has a small dance floor and live bands performing on the stage.

Comedy acts and other performances take to the stage in the Explorer’s Lounge, which is also the setting for art auctions during the day. Churchill’s is the sports bar on the ship and is also the place where you can indulge in smoking a cigar or cigarette as you sip on your drink from the bar.

In the Atrium, you will find two other bars – Crooners and the Lobby Bar – and there are bars adjacent to the pools. All of these have all kinds of beers and other alcoholic drinks as well as juices and sodas to quench your thirst.
