The Piazza serves as the hub of the Ruby Princess with the atmosphere of being in a small town. It is here that you can indulge in people watching and take in impromptu performances by street dancers or acrobats. This is the setting of the Captain’s Welcome Party and the Champagne Waterfall where you can enjoy a glass of bubbly.

The Princess Theater, which can seat 800 guests at one time, is the focal setting for large scale performances on the ship. There are two main productions on every cruise during the evenings and during the day, this location serves as the setting for lectures at sea and for many of the classes in the Scholarship@Sea program. In order to make sure everyone that wants to take in the main production, they are each offered on two different nights with two shows a night.

Watch a movie under the stars on the pool deck on the giant LED screen at the Calypso Reef Pool. During the day there are also music videos and movies playing here for your enjoyment while lazing around the pool.

With the large number of pubs and lounges on the Ruby Princess, there is no shortage of entertainment. The music playing in the background in both these venues is relaxing to listen to, yet it is not loud enough to prevent casual conversation.

Club Fusion features interactive entertainment both day and night. Take classes in line dancing or ballroom dancing, play the video games or take part in champagne tasting events. This venue and that of the Explorer’s Lounge can each seat 250 guests and are also the setting for cabaret and solo performances.



If you like late night partying, Skywalker’s Club located high on the top deck of the ship is the venue for you. The dance floor sparkles with neon lights and TV monitors line the walls of the room. Gatsby’s Casino is open during the day and night for those who want to try their luck on the slot machines and gaming tables.

There is an extensive line –up of activities available through the Scholarship@Sea program that includes a wide variety of classes to enhance the knowledge of all who wish to participate.
