The wide variety of entertainment choices and venues on the Island Princess allow you to as busy or as lazy as you like on a cruise. There is truly something for all interests during the day and into the late hours of the evening.

Take part in the fun and games during the day in the contests, challenges and tournaments that take place on the pool decks and in the various lounges. Enhance your knowledge on a wide variety of topics with the lectures at sea by experts in different fields, learn how to become more adept at using a computer and the Internet, watch cooking demonstrations, play Bingo or cards, take part in an art auction or become involved in a wine tasting event.



Three main venues provide exquisite entertainment in the evenings on the Island Princess. The Princess Theater has an enormous stage where large scale productions take place, complete with a full orchestra. The seating is true stadium style seats with arm rests for your drinks and all have an exceptional view of the stage.

With its three revolving stages, the Universe Lounge is the premiere venue on the ship for cabaret shows. It is also the setting for the Scholarship@Sea program during the day where you can take several different classes, such as pottery or photography, free of charge.

The third large entertainment venue is the Explorer’s Lounge. Tiered seating allows everyone a great view of the stage where you can enjoy solo performances and live bands. There is a dance floor in this venue where you can kick up your heels.

Another dancing venue on the Island Princess is that of the Wheelhouse Bar. With cozy chairs tucked into corners you can have an intimate night out with your partner.

You can’t be a big winner if you don’t at least try the slots of gaming tables in the Princess Casino. This venue is enormous, spanning the full width of the ship so you have panoramic views on both sides. The Casino Bar is quite close if you want to quench your thirst between plays or just watch the action of the winners.
