Veteran cruisers will enjoy a totally different dining experience on the Caribbean Princess. There is traditional seating in the Palm dining room where dinner is served at 6 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. However, there are two other main dining rooms on this ship – the Coral and the Island – that specialize in Personal Choice Dining. This means there is open seating for the evening meal in these two venues between the hours of 5:30 and 10 p.m. For the other two meals of the day, all three offer open seating.

All three main restaurants on the ship offer identical menus and do have themed nights on every cruise. The dress is code is casual attire, with the exception of the two formal nights when you can dress up in your finery and be noticed.



Dining 24-hours a day is available in the Horizon’s Court on the Caribbean Princess and the selections of dishes change on a daily basis. This bistro style setting offers meals round the clock where you can take in the views of the sea from your table. Attire for breakfast and lunch is really casual while dining in the evening requires a little more dressing up.

Right next door to Horizon’s Court, you can make reservations for dinner at Cafe Caribe. Be entertained by Caribbean music as you feast on a wide variety of entrees, main dishes and mouth-watering desserts.

There are two venues for alternative dining on the Caribbean Princess – the Sterling Steakhouse and Sabatini’s. At both of these venues you do have to pay an extra fee, but it is well worth it in the range of dishes and the more intimate atmosphere in a smaller setting.

If you want to have an intimate meal for two, try the Ultimate Balcony Dinner or even the Ultimate Balcony Breakfast. Dine on the balcony of your stateroom where the meal you order will be delivered by one of the wait staff. The table will be dressed with the linen of the dining room and you can sip of champagne or your choice of wine.

Prego is the pizzeria on the Caribbean Princess if this is your favourite food at any time of the day or night. Enjoy as much ice cream as you want at Scoops or feast on your favourite fast food at the Trident Grill, located on the pool deck for your comfort and convenience.

Room service is available 24 hours a day and with the telephone in your room, you can order from the menu and dine in complete privacy.
