Dining on the Golden Princess is a dream, not only in the number of dining venues but in the culinary delights you can choose for every meal of the day and snacks in between. Personal Choice in dining is prevalent on this ship. Take your evening meal at any time between 5: 30 and 10 p.m. and sit where you like in the Bernini and Donatello Dining Rooms. There are tables for two available in both these venues.

The Golden Princess knows that some people on a cruise like the traditional style of dining and offer assigned seating and set times for dinner in the Canaletto Dining Room. There are two sittings for dinner – 6:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. All three venues serve the same menu so you won’t miss out on any delicacies by choosing one over the other.



Dining is available whenever you feel the urge to eat in Horizon Court. This is the buffet-style dining venue on the ship where you can sit at a table on the balcony if you wish. This venue is open round the clock serving dishes for all meals of the day. There are international food stations, as well as those serving only salads and desserts. There is even a station just for bread. Hot and cold entrees are available all day and night for your convenience.

Feel as if you are in the desert instead of floating at sea when you dine at the Desert Rose. This is the Tex-Mex restaurant on the ship where it doesn’t cost you anything to choose from the menu and sit down to a fantastic meal.

The two alternative restaurants on the Golden Princess are Sabatini’s and the Sterling Steakhouse. Sabatini’s is an Italian restaurant where you can dine on a five-course meal and indulge your passion for pasta for a modest price per person. Have your steak cooked just the way you like it, or feast on prime rib, fresh seafood and many other dishes at the Sterling Steakhouse. For both of these venues, advance reservations are required.

The Promenade Lounge and Bar also serves light meals, such as continental breakfast in the morning. In the evenings, though, this is the place to come if you want to enjoy caviar with a glass of wine.

Pizza is the main food of the Prego Pizzaria and since this venue is conveniently located right next to the Neptune Pool you can grab a slice of pizza to enjoy on the pool deck. Pizza is served all day and into the night, along with delicious salads and Garlic rolls.

If you prefer barbequed food, then the Terrace Grill has exactly what you need. Room service is available round the clock for times when you prefer to dine in the privacy of your room. And, if you get hungry for a snack between lunch and dinner, High Tea is served in various locations on the ship in the afternoons.
