With the many choices of cabins on the Star Princess you can easily get a suite, a stateroom with a balcony or a view of the ocean or an inside cabin to fit within your cruising budget. The majority of the staterooms are on the outside of the ship and most of these do have private balconies.

There are several classes of accommodations within each category. All of the suites have a balcony and range in size from 323 square feet to a whopping 1314 square feet. If you want to book a suite, for example, you can choose from:

• Grand Suite
• Owner’s Suite
• Penthouse Suite
• Premium Suite
• Vista Suite
• Mini Suite
• Family Suite

The Grand Suite gives you additional amenities, such as access to the spa and the Internet cafe and complimentary laundry services. Most of these accommodations sleep three or four guests, but the Family suite can sleep up to eight in two interconnecting staterooms.

In the ocenview category of staterooms, you can choose one with a balcony, one with a large picture window or one with an obstructed view so that you still have natural light coming into the room. While the bathrooms in the suites have a whirlpool tub, these accommodations have a shower only in the bathroom. There are also separate rooms in a suite, such as a main bedroom with a queen size bed and a sleeper sofa in the living room.

All of the oceanview and interior staterooms have two twin beds that can easily convert to a queen size bed and some have additional room for two more guests in a sleeper sofa in the sitting room area. There is ample closet and storage space as well as a table and chairs for times when you want to take your meals in your room.

You can enjoy closed circuit TV in your stateroom, whatever category of accommodations you choose. Some of the larger suites have two or more TV for the comfort of all the guests in the suite. Other standard amenities on the Star Princess include bathrobes and a hair dryer, a wall safe, air-conditioning with separate controls in each stateroom or suite, refrigerator and mini-bar.

Fresh towels are delivered to your room every day or several times a day if you need them. There is a complimentary basket of toiletries in the bathroom upon arrival, but this is not restocked when the supplies run out.

Wheelchair accessible staterooms and suites are also available on this ship featuring state of the art design elements to make your cruise as comfortable as possible. The doors are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair and the bathroom is specially fitted with lower handrails, alarms and hand-held shower nozzles. Enhancements on the telephone and sensors to notify you that someone is at the door are some of the other features you enjoy in the all in one package offered by Princess Cruises.
