Choice is the watchword when it comes to choosing accommodations on the Grand Princess. With one full deck devoted to mini-suites and all of the accommodations on the upper decks with balconies, there is no shortage of an ocean view when you take a cruise on this ship. While there are no interconnecting staterooms on the ship, families can have staterooms that are next to one another and have the door between the balconies unlocked for easy access from one to the other.
All staterooms on the Grand Princess have televisions and telephones, a wall safe, refrigerator and mini-bar. There is no need to pack your bathrobe and hair dryer because these items are provided as well. Enjoy fresh fluffy towels every day and the convenience of dining in your room with the Ultimate Balcony Breakfast, the Ultimate Balcony Dinner or room service, which is available round the clock. ![]() If you book a suite for your accommodations, you have amenities such as complimentary laundry and dry-cleaning services, separate bedroom and living room and a whirlpool tub in the spacious bathroom. There are also two TV’s in these rooms. There are self-service Laundromats on the various passenger decks for those who have regular staterooms. All of the staterooms have two twin beds that can easily convert to a queen size bed. The main bedroom in the larger suites has a queen size bed and a pull out sofa in the living room. Some of the standard outside staterooms also have a sleeper sofa allowing for up to four guests in one cabin. The bathrooms in the standard accommodations contain a shower only, but they are quite roomy. There is ample closet and storage space in all the suites and staterooms for your needs, so there is no reason not to unpack and feel right at home. For passengers with physical disabilities, there are wheelchair accessible accommodations in all categories. These have wider than usual doors, and devices on the telephone that make it easier for hearing disabled guests to be able to talk in comfort. Sensors let you know when someone is knocking on the door. |
