The range of choices in accommodations on the Emerald Princess will meet the needs of all cruisers no matter what your cruising budget may be. At the higher end of the scale there are penthouse suites, vista suites and one each of an owner’s suite and a grand suite. However, there are 180 mini-suites to choose from and 2 family suites with interconnecting staterooms. All of these cabins have large private balconies as do the 656 cabins in the outside cabin category.

There are 72 outside twin cabins with a large picture window and a further 158 that have a picture window offering an obstructed view. There are 427 interiors cabins as well as 24 cabins and suites that are wheelchair accessible so that disabled passengers can enjoy the luxury of a cruise to ports of call in the Caribbean.

All accommodations are quite spacious, especially the grand suites which are about the same size as an apartment. The interior cabins measure about 163 square feet with the outside staterooms being slightly larger measuring between 160 and 258 square feet. You have a television in your room, two in the suites, a wall safe, private bathroom, refrigerator and mini-bar as well as the convenience of room service, soft bathrobes and a hair dryer.

The larger suites are divided into separate living and sleeping areas with a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the sitting room that pulls out to form a double bed. In these accommodations you have a walk-in closet and a corner whirlpool tub in addition to the shower in the bathroom.



The regular staterooms, both inside and out, have a shower only, but the bathroom is still spacious. Some of these staterooms do have a pull out sofa to accommodate up to four guests, but for the most part they are designed to sleep only two.

When you arrive on the Emerald Princess, the bathroom contains a large basket of complimentary toiletries. This is not restocked once they are used, but the staff does check the mini-bar every day to replace the items that you have purchased. Fresh, fluffy towels are delivered to your stateroom each day and sooner if you need them. Room service is also available round the clock and does not involve any extra charges for the use of this service.
